Sleep Goodnight

For a while there, if anyone asked me to sing a song, all I could literally think of was lullabies…that was pretty much all that I sung most of the time, and that is what would go on in my head on an auto replay cycle. I am sure all parents and many teachers of little ones can relate to this! 🙂 For those of you to whom I have sung Twinkle Twinkle when you lovingly asked me to sing you a song or times when I have had a blank look on my face not knowing what in the world to sing other than nursery rhymes, my sincere apologies! My repository of songs was zoned completely to the kid section. Thank you for baring through that phase of mine, although I am not sure I am completely past that. Needless to say, when I heard this song Sooha Saaha Amma ka…I could totally connect and feel the emotions of this song!

Sooha Saaha Amma Ka means your mom’s red rabbit and is a lullaby from the movie Highway. The gist of the song is that you are your mom’s cute little red rabbit!!! How sweet is that, right….I feel the special warm fuzzy loving comfort of my mom’s protection and care just thinking of that….so off I go to sing Sooha Saaha for you.
